Local Area Agreement
For information on LAA 2 please click here.
A Local Area Agreement (LAA) is a contract between central and local government to deliver a balance of national priorities together with the priorities of local people. West Sussex has had an LAA since April 2006.
West Sussex County Council leads on the development of the LAA for the county of West Sussex, but all public services in West Sussex are involved, as well as voluntary organisations, private companies and users of local services.
These organisations collectively form the West Sussex Strategic Partnership (WSSP). The WSSP has set up a Public Service Board to oversee the LAA. More details on this can be found on the next page.
The complete final LAA is available for download below, together with a summary document. In 2007 the LAA was refreshed and the Refresh Submission, together with the Annex can be accessed from the links below. The final consolidated LAA (following the 2007 refresh) is also available for download.
The Final LAA (consolidated) can be dowloaded hereIf you have any comments or questions please contact the LAA
