West Sussex County Council: Committee calls special public meeting to discuss On Street parking

Senior representatives from NCP Services will attend a special public meeting being held by Worthing County Local Committee to discuss On Street parking within the Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) that comprises much of the town centre.

The meeting is taking place in Worthing Town Hall’s Gordon Room on Wednesday October 22 between 7pm-9pm. It will also be attended by representatives of West Sussex County Council and the Borough Council

John Livermore, Committee Chairman, said the meeting – which will only focus on the operation and enforcement of the CPZ restrictions – is being held in response to comments raised by members of the public at its last meeting.

“A very informative and useful debate showed there was a demand for a special meeting to discuss what is a hot issue in the borough.

“The aim of the meeting is to provide residents with a forum to discuss any problems they may have encountered with the current On Street parking arrangements.

“It will also give them an opportunity to make suggestions for any improvements they may have.”
