The Local Government Ombudsman
If your complaint has been dealt with under a County Council complaint
procedure and you are still not satisfied and believe it is unfair, you have the right to complain to the Local
Government Ombudsman.
The Local Government Ombudsman service is independent, impartial and
free. However, they will only usually investigate your complaint
only after you have given us a chance to deal with it ourselves
first.
To complain to the Local Government Ombudsman please phone their Advice Team on: 0845 602 1983 or 0300 061 0614.
You can find more details in the leaflet 'Complained to the Council? Still not satisfied?' which is available from Help Points, or Libraries, or click on the link on the right to go directly to the Local Government Ombudsman website.
