Cycle West Sussex

There are lots of cycle routes, within and through cities and the countryside, in West Sussex.  Most cycle routes are available to view on the West Sussex County Map with further cycling information provided in the Cycle West Sussex leaflet, both of which are available under Downloads.

Here is a list of the cycle routes shown on the West Sussex County Map. The Sustrans route name and number is shown in brackets next to them. Please visit the Sustrans' website for further information.

  • Burgess Hill to Hassocks;
  • Burgess Hill to Hickstead;
  • Centurion Way (Regional Route 88);
  • Chichester Canal Path;
  • Chichester to Bognor A259;
  • Chichester to Crockerhill A27;
  • Crawley to Brighton (National Route 20);
  • Crawley to London (National Route 21);
  • Crossbush to Hammerpot A27;
  • Downs Link to South Downs Way and North Downs Way (Regional Route 79 and 89);
  • Horsham to Crawley;
  • South Coast Cycle Route (National Route 2);
  • Southwater to Horsham, including Pedlars Way;
  • Worth Way and Forest Way (National Route 21).
