West Sussex County Council: Coastal Route Leaflet - Shoreham to Worthing

Take a look at the NEW Shoreham to Worthing Cycle Route

The scheme was completed in 2007 and forms the last part of an almost traffic-free cycle path between Brighton and Worthing along the coast.

The route, with a wonderful picturesque backdrop of the south downs, will take you past Widewater Lagoon Local Nature Reserve and Lancing Sailing  Club, on the way to Worthing, completely avoiding the busy A259 altogether.

The path is well used by pedestrians, and cyclists are asked to take care whilst using the route and give way to pedestrians.
