Real time displays at bus stops
Real time information uses innovative technology to monitor the location and movement of buses in service. Electronic display screens at bus stops use this information to inform you of the predicted arrival time of the next bus, which counts down in minutes until your bus arrives.
Information display screens are currently available at a number of bus stops in Worthing and Crawley (as part of Fastway), and will spread to further locations across West Sussex over the coming years.
What do the real time displays show?
- The service number
- The service destination
- The departure time, either shown in minutes (indicating that the bus is being tracked by the real time system) and the waiting time before the bus arrives at the stop, e.g. 9mins - or as a timetable time (where the bus is not being tracked), e.g. 11:38
Where are the Worthing real time bus stops located?
- South Street - Stops J, L, M and K
- Town Hall - Stops A and B
- Richmond Road - opposite Worthing Library
- Worthing Station - Stop B
- Goring Road - near Wallace Avenue
- Broadwater Church
- Marine Parade - Stops G and N
