Walking West Sussex Festival 2009

Four walkers practising map reading on the South Downs at the 2008 Walking West Sussex Festival 2008

The Festival will run for 5 days between Wednesday 7th and  Sunday 11th October 2009.  It will be based at 'Kew at Wakehurst' (RH17 6TN), which is between Turners Hill and Ardingly; 6 miles north of Haywards Heath and 7.5 miles south east of Crawley.

'Kew at Wakehurst', in the beautiful High Weald of Sussex, is an outstanding botanic garden and conservation area and also home to the Millenium Seed bank.

The surrounding areas offer some fantastic walking through varied and beautiful countryside which is bound to be popular with Festival goers.

You can find information about all of the walks for this year in the Walking West Sussex Festival brochure. Once you've decided which walks you'd like to do, complete the registration form and send it, with your payment, to Festival Walks, Testers, White Horse Square, Steyning, West Sussex BN44 3CQ
