Whether you are looking for hikes in the hills, night walks, shoreline strolls or off-road biking, you will find it here, and a lot more besides. This is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people whilst your body reaps the benefits of exercise in the fresh air.

These walks and rides are organised and led by the RSPB, the Chichester Harbour Conservancy, the South Downs Joint Committee and the National Trust, among others. Most of the walks are free of charge, though donations can be made to the organisation leading the walk.
The booklet “Exploring West Sussex” gives details of all of the walks and rides listed on this page and is on sale at West Sussex libraries (and neighbouring area libraries), Tourist Information Centres and Sussex Stationers for £1.50.
