Planning Applications Online (Minerals, Waste, County)
Welcome to our online service for planning applications, which should provide you with all the information you wish to know about the applications we are dealing with. It also allows you to submit your applications online.

PLANNING APPLICATIONS
Applications should be made to the county council for permission to carry out:
- mineral development (e.g., sand, gravel, chalk, clay extraction);
- waste development (e.g., landfill, tipping, waste recycling, transfer stations, wastewater treatment works);
- the county council’s own development (e.g., schools, libraries, care homes).
The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) is the County Council's policy for involving interested parties when consulting on the above mentioned types of planning applications, and in preparing the documents to be included in the Minerals and Waste Development Framework (MWDF). Consultation on planning applications will have to comply with the adopted SCI.
All other types of planning application are dealt with by the district and borough councils.
PLANNING APPLICATIONS ONLINE
Viewing applications online
You can search for and look at minerals, waste, and the county council's own applications registered since April 2004.
You can also see these applications by visiting us at County Hall in Chichester or the relevant district or borough council's office (or online at the appropriate district or borough council's web site).
Copies of applications yet to be decided can also be seen by visiting us at County Hall in Chichester or at the relevant district or borough council's office.
Submitting applications online
You can submit an application online for minerals, waste, or county council (Regulation 3) developments. Applications created can be saved at any time for completion later. Supporting documentation must be in PDF format.
