08. Applying for an in-year school place primary/infant/first/junior/middle
If you are moving house and your child needs a new primary, infant, first, junior, or middle school you will need to complete the application form included in the ‘Parents Information Pack’, which can be downloaded here.
You can contact the Pupil Admissions Team (admissions@westsussex.gov.uk or ring 0845 075 1007) and they will send you a pack. You must complete the form accurately.
The pack contains information about how to make an application, and includes:
- details about the procedures involved.
- an application form.
- admissions criteria for community and controlled schools.
- an Appeal form and guidance notes
You can also download a list of schools in each area (according to the map in section 1).
